Developing the Altenberger Dom Presentation — Integrating Content Providers and Software Developers

چکیده
Multimedia applications are often build in an ad-hoc way lacking a systematic development process. This leads to problems regarding the documentation, design and maintenaince of the application. The paper discusses the features of larger multimedia applications and argues that classical software engineering principles and tools are not allways applicable in this context. The requirements for an integrated development environment and the architecture of a prototype implementation are discussed.
